Oregon State athletic director Scott Barnes has returned to Corvallis, one week after suffering a cardiac event during an alumni awards event at Fresno State . Barnes, 60, flew home with his family Friday. He's resting and recovering at his residence after spending five days at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, Calif. Barnes had a medical emergency last Saturday shortly before he was to be honored with the Top Dog Award, given to Fresno State alums who make significant contributions to society.
